Once your sitemap is created, you can save it and upload it to your site. Create an account with Google for submitting your sitemap. Follow all the instructions there to get your sitemap verified and then submit the generated sitemaps.
Now submit your content to Google to make it aware that you need your website crawled by Google bots. Add your website URL to Google and submit the required content. Google will consider your sitemap and content within a week or two.
Search engines work on the basis of spider software that searches through a website. When this spider finds a link on a webpage it follows that link. If there is a link to your website “y” from website “x”, then the spider will divert towards website “y” from website “x”. Thus if your links appear on good established websites then spiders will be led to your website.
Getting one-way links for newly created websites is a bit tedious; however you can achieve this by writing relevant and unique articles and submitting them to the top most article directories to get one-way links. Initially you can also try reciprocal linking methods in which you put other website links on your site in return for links to yours.
Another way of getting back links is to buy a one-way link from a trusted website which already has a high page rank value. However you have to pay money for this.
After building a good site, getting indexed in Google is the first step to obtain good search engine traffic. Backlinking is the next.
