Adsense
is no doubt one of the great earning opportunity available
on net. But at one day you may face a situation where
you may get banned from Adsense program forever. Many
Adsense Publisher have faced this problem and some may
get out of it and others can’t. You must be thinking
why you will get banned?
Below is a list of ways which you can consider, if
you don’t want your name to be considered in Adsense
Black list to avoid yourself from getting banned by
Adsense.
Don’t click on
your own ads
Some times you may see ads which you like most on your
site but never ever click on your ads. Since Google
keeps track of your IP address of a computer from which
you have registered your Adsense account. If Google
finds that someone has clicked on an
ad from same IP then you are in for big trouble. Since
it harms the advertisers because they don’t get targeted
visitors to their site and Google thinks the click generated
was intentional. I am again reminding you don’t do it.
If by mistake or accidentally you click on your ads
which may happen some day. Do one thing; prior to receiving
an email from Adsense you drop one email to them by
stating all true scenarios with apology.
Don’t log in
to your Adsense account from a shared computer
Never use any other computer than your personal one
to check your Adsense account because if you do that
then someone else might click on your ads from same
IP which Google consider it as click fraud and they
penalize you for same. Since Google keeps track of your
each IP address you have used for Adsense account checking.
Receiving clicks
from illegal traffic
Check the Adsense TOS for sources of traffic that aren’t
allowed by Google. These include methods like Traffic
exchange, PTC advertising, Auto surf etc.
Do monitor your
visitor and Adsense figures
Check your account at least once a day. If you see a
massive spike coupled with a massive increase in Page
CTR investigate using your visitor stats website. If
you see it’s all come from the same IP address you could
have been the victim of a malicious attack – inform
Google via email and offer them access to your logs.Don’t
log in to your Adsense account from your work place
Some times you may want to check your Adsense account
from you work place but it can be harmful to you. Many
companies uses Proxy server with one IP address. So
if your companies have 500 employees then all have Internet
connection with only one IP and Google can’t differentiate
between you and other 499 computers, they think all
computers as one. If any one of them will click on your
ad then you may get ban due to click fraud.
Don’t get involved
in exchange click scenario
Exchange click scenario is another case for getting
banned from Google. Some publisher gets involved in
one to one click scenario they tell others to click
on their ad and in turn they click on others ad. If
Google see these IP addresses consistently clicking
on each other ads then its goodbye for both of you.Never
tell your friends and family about your Adsense website
Never tell your friends or your family members regarding
your Adsense website. I have found one of my friends
getting banned from Google because he has generated
400 clicks on one website within 1-2 hrs. You must be
thinking how he has generated that much click. One day
my friend tells his wife regarding his Adsense website
and his wife does rest of work for him.
