I have found many
Adsense Publishers wondering on how
to make money with Google Adsense
pay per click contextual program?
There are many Adsense publishers
who don’t tell exact figures because
of Adsense TOS, however there are
plenty of webmasters who use to generate
1000’s of dollar a day and there is
also some webmaster who struggle to
generate $1 a day.
You must be thinking why there is
so much difference in earning with
same program that everyone is using.
The main reason behind it is the number
of traffic you receive to your site
and number of clicks generated. Since
Google pays you for every click generated
from your site, so if you have low
clicks then you can’t generate more
income from it.
The fact of the matter is; if you
have a small website and you don't
want to invest extra money to maintain
it, then you can probably do this
with Adsense.
Adsense also works well for people
who have website with lots of pages.
Even if the said pages don't generate
a lot of traffic individually, they
make up for it in the sheer numbers.
One can earn a lot in this way as
every click counts. This just goes
to prove that sometimes quantity matters
almost as much as quality.
There's no telling on how much money
you're able to make with Adsense but
you can sort out some figure by taking
a few things into consideration. To
make money from Adsense you need traffic
to you site without it you can’t even
think of generating a cents from it.
As you have read above, you can make
money from small five pages website
and can also make money from with
Google Adsense using 200 page website.
Which method you choose to make money
with Google Adsense, it does all depend
on you.
Here are
few tips on how to make money with
Google Adsense
Before building your site for Adsense,
you must target the right keywords
so that you get right number of visitors
to generate the clicks on your site
to make decent money from Adsense.
To get good amount of traffic you
need to do proper SEO on your site
to get it rank well in the search
engines. If the first stage planning
in not done properly from your side
then this step can make or break your
Adsense business.
I have seen many people when it comes
to making website for Adsense they
go for high paying keywords and end
up with less or no earning. Why? Because
the high paying keywords are already
captured by big fish out in the market
and that’s why you will not able to
outrank them in the search engines
and receive less traffic to your site
to generate good amount of revenue
from Adsense.
Let’s take an example, suppose you
are targeting the keyword which promises
you to pay $3/click. From this keyword
if you receive 100 visitors per month
and get 10 clicks from that number
of visitors that means you will make
$30/month. In other scenario if you
target the keyword which promise you
to pay $0.40/cent and you get 1000
visitors to your site (remember the
high paying keywords are too much
competitive than low paying keywords)
then you will make $40/month. I hope
by now you have complete understanding
of what keyword to target while dreaming
of making money with Adsense.
Always target a keyword that are less
competitive and produce higher number
of searches in the search engines
like Google. There are various free
tools like Adword Keyword External
tool and Seobook Keyword Tool available
on internet to accomplish the task
of finding that kind of keywords.
To find the right keyword for site
enter the search term in the above
tool (always go with keyword that
has at least 300 or more searches
per month in Google). Once you find
your keyword enter the term in Google
search engine within quotes “” to
determine the exact competition among
that keyword. So if your keyword is
Golf Training Center in New York then
type “Golf Training Center in New
York” in the Google to know exact
number of websites you are competing
with for that keyword.
Note: Long tail keywords get easily
ranked in Google than using broad
term. For example for term “Golf”
you will found impossible to rank
in Google than for term “Nike Golf
balls in Auckland”.
Once you get the list of keywords
to be used on your Adsense sites.
Now it’s time to book your domain
name and host it on server. Another
important tips, always try to include
your main keyword in your URL. For
example, if your main keyword is Golf
ball, book your domain name like http://www.golf-ball.com
Now it’s time to start writing content
for the keywords gathered during keyword
research. Write 400-500 words per
keyword. Always include keywords in
the title of your page and also include
keyword in your first paragraph of
article with two-three times repetition
in the body for SEO purpose.
Once you have done all the above steps
now it’s time to upload your website
on the server. Once your website is
up and running now your main goal
is to bring traffic to your website.
You can learn more about how to increase
traffic to website here and to learn
SEO for better ranking you can read
my post search engine optimization
tutorial.
I hope by now it’s clear to you that
to make money with Google Adsense
you need fresh quality unique content
and traffic.
And then of course, is the position
and number of ads on your website.
While you don't want to overdo things,
having many links will likely generate
more income for you as an online business
owner. However, don't think that just
placing a lot of ads in an important
portion of your site get you the clicks
you are looking for. Your visitors
could always just skip them, and be
assured that many do just that.
Properly positioning your ads is a
combination of arts and science. People
generally look in certain places and
completely ignore others. Knowing
this a website author and/or webmaster
can do a great number of things to
increase what he makes with Adsense.
So to earn make
money with Google Adsense you need
three things – high quality unique
content, visitors to your site and
well optimized Adsense ads to perform
the clicks by visitors.
